Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Professionally responds to (Internal and External) customers, and sales representatives by telephone and e-mail inquiries
  • Researches required information using available resources (EDI, e-mails and SAP)
  • Provides customers and sales reps with product and service information
  • Organizes and keeps records of customer transactions, inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken
  • Identifies, prioritizes, and resolves issues and escalates if necessary
  • Communicates delivery times, issues, and customers concerns
  • Completes order entry, quoting, updating customer files and daily reports
  • Communicates and distributes orders to scheduler
  • E-mails to follow up outbound deliveries with customers and carriers
  • Daily meetings with Production, Scheduler and Shipping
  • Processing and review of PO's for new products
  • Release analysis process
  • Stops shipment and production to correct quality problems.
  • Environmental aspect and impact awareness.
  • Report any inconsistency or nonconformance on the product and participate in the corrective/ preventive actions process.


Education and/or Experience Qualifications:



  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Excellent data entry skills required
  • Possesses a sense of urgency and takes ownership of assigned projects.
  • Demonstrates the ability to anticipate the needs of the customer and sales representatives, proactively resolving their need
  • Proficient in English with excellent verbal communication and written skills
  • High school Diploma or equivalent required
  • Possesses the ability to work independently and be counted on to complete assigned projects in a timely manner, and multi-tasking ability
