Your Opportunity:Taylor's Print & Packaging Group, a division of Taylor Corporation, is seeking a mid-level Product Engineer to independently lead and contribute to the ideation, design, development, and optimization of products such as Prepaid Cards, Packaging, and Lenticular Printing. This hands-on role involves refining product designs, conducting testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, meet customer needs, and ensure high standards of performance, quality, and cost throughout the product lifecycle.

Reports To: Senior Product Engineer / Engineering Manager

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve product designs based on customer needs, performance targets, and manufacturability considerations
  • Analyze technical data and performance results to inform design enhancements
  • Create prototypes and perform validation testing to support design decisions
  • Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and marketing teams to ensure seamless product introductions
  • Identify and address technical challenges during the development lifecycle
  • Prepare technical documentation including drawings, test plans, and compliance records
  • Contribute ideas for product innovation and process improvement
  • Research materials and vendors to meet project needs

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in Product Development or a related Engineering role
  • Proficiency in CAD software and a good understanding of engineering tools and practices
  • An analytical mindset with solid problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage tasks with some supervision and collaborate effectively across teams

    The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
