We're seeking a Plant Engineer to join our high-performing team! This is a dynamic and impactful role where you'll work closely with Maintenance and Manufacturing to drive equipment performance, implement sustainability initiatives, and lead capital improvement projects. From building systems to production lines, your expertise will ensure equipment runs safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.


What You'll Be Doing

Operations & Maintenance




  • Ensure plant equipment and systems are safe, reliable, and compliant.



  • Lead troubleshooting and preventative maintenance strategies for mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and PLC-based systems.



  • Support the PM program and provide guidance to technicians on repairs and adjustments.



  • Oversee building maintenance and general facilities operations.




Capital Projects & Equipment Improvements




  • Design and implement equipment upgrades and new installations.



  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on capital projects from planning to execution.



  • Prepare and manage capital expenditure requests and control project budgets.




Sustainability & Continuous Improvement




  • Develop and implement long-term sustainability strategies aligned with organizational goals.



  • Monitor key metrics and track impact of green initiatives.



  • Stay up to date on sustainability trends and environmental regulations.



  • Lead or participate in waste reduction, energy conservation, and efficiency initiatives.




Documentation & Compliance




  • Generate engineering documentation: preventive maintenance plans, validation protocols, work instructions, and change notifications.



  • Ensure all systems and practices align with AS9100 and internal quality standards.




Collaboration & Leadership




  • Work with production and cross-functional teams to solve chronic issues (e.g., downtime, scrap, inefficiency).



  • Train staff on safe equipment use and sustainability practices.



  • Direct the work of machinists, contractors, and in-house support staff.




What You Bring


  • Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.



  • 3-7 years of relevant engineering experience in a plant or manufacturing environment.



  • Strong knowledge of machine design, facilities systems, and capital equipment management.



  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design software.



  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement tools.



  • Ability to manage multiple technical projects and communicate across departments.



  • Knowledge of AS9100, ISO, OSHA safety standards, and sustainability best practices.
