Job Summary:

M1 is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic II - Jet Engine Intermediate Maintenance (JEIM) who will perform all aspects
of F100-PW-220, F100-PW-229 Jet Engine Intermediate Maintenance and Module repair. Will be required to
perform F100-PW-119 Limited Intermediate Maintenance and F15 Secondary Power systems repairs as
required.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Troubleshoots, maintains, services, and inspects aircraft engines, systems, components, engine trailers
and related support equipment.
* Reads and interprets manufacturers and engine maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical
data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or
replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
* Performs periodic and other hourly or calendar inspections as required.
* Must have working knowledge of engine support equipment such as test equipment, torque
wrenches, dial indicators and micrometers.
* Will be required conduct engine and work-package final inspections.
* Will perform daily Engine Electronic Work-package and IMDS document reviews.
* Receives technical guidance from managers, supervisors, leads or higher-level technicians as
required.
* May be required to obtain and maintain special certifications required by AFI as directed by
management.
* Reviews and completes forms documentation pertinent to aircraft or equipment maintenance, enters
maintenance actions into applicable MIS system and will make entries in forms, logs, records, or
electronic equivalent as required.
* May be required to monitor and lead teams to perform more complex aircraft inspections and
repairs.
* May be required to write/initiate engineering technical assistance requests. Complete all
assignments and tasks as directed by managers, supervisors, leads, and more senior technicians.
Qualifications and Experience:
* High school diploma or GED is required. Mathematics skills are desirable
* Minimum of 6 years performing Jet Engine Maintenance on F100-PW-220 or F100-PW-229
engines including 2 years of JEIM experience and documented blade blending and borescope
certification.
* Working knowledge of MIS systems, forms documentation and strict adherence to
technical data is required.

* Must speak, read, write, and understand English with the ability to interpret technical data and
special operating instructions in the same language.
* Must be willing to deploy to support off-station requirements.
* Performs housekeeping duties within 100 feet of assigned work areas (excluding bathrooms).
* Performs vehicle use inspections, cleaning, and wash.
* Performs any other supportive duties as assigned.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (or higher, if required).
* Must be able to, if required, obtain, and maintain a government driver's license. If controlled
movement area (CMA) access is required must be able to pass color vision test.
* May be required to work in other work sections throughout the contract.
Working Conditions:
* Must be physically capable of performing all assigned duties.
* Must be able to pass a color vision test.
* Environment ranges from office, hangar and flightline and requires extensive climbing, standing, stooping,
bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
