The Medical College of Wisconsin's Department of OBGYN is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (APRN) Manager to oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the CNM team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality inpatient and outpatient care and that standardized processes are followed. Will help to create CNM guidelines for care management (including but not limited to requirements for OB physician or MFM physician consultation and/or transfer of care) The APRN will provide primary or specialty medical care within defined scope of practice under the supervision of a licensed physician and in accordance with MCW/FMLH/CHW policies and procedures. The APRN will be responsible for the physical, mental, and emotional care of their patients during delivery. The CNM will provide prenatal and postnatal education, examine the patient during the course of the pregnancy, and assist patients in creating birth plans. The APRN will also ensure the health and well-being of the newborn and mother during delivery. The Ideal Candidate will be a Women's Health experienced RN with Professionalism, strong communication skills, and collegiality, wanting to be part of a thriving and very collaborative academic practice at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited School of Nursing and Midwifery and certification from the American Midwifery Certification Board *Must be a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin
