Minimum Requirements |
Associates Degree with two years of professional administrative office work. Bachelor's degree preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply. |
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities |
Experience using MS Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience using keyboard and numeric pad to perform data entry. Ability to read information carefully, write effectively and communicate verbally in an effective manner with all levels of internal customers, including faculty, staff and students. Ability to interpret information from various sources and make sound decisions. Maintaining an accurate calendar and communicating with direct supervisor a must. Attention to detail and reliability in communication a must. Data entry, human resources and E-Verify experience preferred. |
Additional Comments Regarding Position |
Ability to sit and work at a computer and perform accurate data entry. Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the college. Candidate will be trained in all
FERPA, confidentiality of student records, state of SC and federal guidelines. Requires 20-25 (max) hours per week between 8:30am-5pm which may be worked in three or four day work week. Schedule to be set with supervisor.

This part-time position within the Student Employment Program of the Career Center processes a large volume of new hire forms and accompanying documentation required for hiring and terminating student employees. Duties include: entering electronic personnel data forms into computer after researching various screens for information and coding. Process onboarding documents: 1-9, E-Verify, direct deposit and associated communication with students, staff and faculty. |

Assist and support students and hiring managers to answer questions and troubleshoot, if needed, with various campus offices and constituents.
