Specialist Maintenance Systems

The Maintenance Control Specialist is responsible for tracking, auditing, and updating of engine, aircraft and associated component electronic and paper historical records. Research historical records of aircraft, engines, and components that are being brought into AirEvac's fleet. Assists with the oversight and management of outsourced maintenance projects.

Responsibilities

• Tracks engine and/or aircraft flight time
• Verifies, inputs, audits, and analyzes flight information in electronic tracking systems and corrects erroneous entries
• Compares data input into Flight Log, Ramco, and paper log as appropriate.
• Updates and verifies proper tracking of scheduled inspections, overhauls, and retirements of components in the elctronic record system.
• Collaborates with Maintenance Control to research any records concerns with records or electronic tracking systems and make required corrections.
• Assist Maintenance Control Coordinator with auditing external maintenance vendors.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 2 years of detailed record keeping experience.
• Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

• Exhibits professionalism, is ethical and able to maintain confidentiality.

• Well-organized, analytical and self-directed.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to relate to and interact with people at all levels of the organization.

• Demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills.

• Active listening skills

• Proficient with Microsoft suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge in aircraft, engine, and component records preferred.
• Aircraft maintenance record keeping experience
• Previous mechanical experience
