Aerobraze Engineered Technologies, a division of Wall Colmonoy manufactures turbine engine components like turbine nozzles, turbine vanes, complete turbine engines (both manufacturing and repair), diffusers, honeycomb seals and segments, heat shields, and parts for various turbomachinery.

Our 90,000-square foot facility located in Cincinnati, Ohio houses a dedicated team of 50+ highly skilled professionals and constantly expands its production capabilities. Our products are globally shipped to customers far and wide.

The HR Business Partner is responsible for leading all human resource functions including staffing, onboarding, policy enforcement, performance management, and labor compliance. In addition, the role holds primary accountability for onsite safety programs, disciplinary systems, and fostering a high-performance, safety-conscious, and compliant workforce culture.

Essential Responsibilities

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee daily HR activities including payroll liaison, employee records, and policy compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulatory requirements, supporting audits and reporting for AS9100, OSHA, and other standards.
  • Develop, interpret, and apply site-specific policies to ensure fairness and consistency.


Talent & Organizational Development

  • Lead recruitment and onboarding efforts for technical, hourly, and salaried positions.
  • Partner with plant leadership on workforce planning, employee development, and succession planning.
  • Coach and support supervisors in addressing performance issues and fostering a positive work environment.


Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Manage employee relations including investigations, conflict resolution, and progressive discipline.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and site-wide events.


Safety & Site Leadership

  • Serve as the site safety leader, overseeing audits, hazard analysis, incident investigations, and compliance with OSHA and company policies.
  • Lead safety committee meetings and champion a proactive safety culture.
  • Manage safety training programs, including new hire orientation and PPE usage.


Business Support & Special Projects

  • Support plant expansion projects and collaborate with corporate IT on systems and infrastructure improvements.
  • Assist in implementing new ERP capabilities to enhance productivity and job standards.
  • Build relationships with local fire and police departments to ensure site safety and compliance.
  • Lead or coordinate site meetings, celebrations, and team events.


Metrics & Reporting

  • Maintain key HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, safety incidents, and training compliance.
  • Prepare reports for plant leadership and corporate HR teams.



Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR management, preferably in manufacturing or aerospace.
  • Demonstrated success in managing employee relations and safety compliance.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and OSHA regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and safety management tools.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred
