The Solutions Engineer is an integral part of the Trimble O&PS Private sales team who plays a central role in educating client prospects on the benefits and use of the Trimble Unity suite. You will be a trusted resource that is capable of building conceptual bridges and helping prospects envision how they can use the Trimble Unity suite portfolio of products to free up time and resources for societies higher priorities.

What You Will Do:

In this role you will be responsible for traveling to clients' sites, perform value-based demonstrations of capabilities, facilitate assessment meetings, and will be responsible for answering all system related questions and developing client proposals. This includes but is not limited to:

• Communicate with prospects on their level, using their language and being an expert in navigating both business and technical questions; from all levels within an organization

• Develop and execute accurate, clear, and concise proposals

• Responsible for uncovering client needs and addressing those needs as part of the sales and demonstration strategy

• Ability to position e-Builder Enterprise as the system of choice and become an expert in overcoming objections

• Configure complex solutions in e-Builder Enterprise and demonstrate the benefits to the prospect

• Work with the territory Sales Team in the Private segment to execute the sales pursuit strategy

• Develop and refine RFP responses as assigned

• Responsible for reading and interpreting clients' requirements into client solutions and proposals

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:

• Prior experience in a Product Management, Business Analyst, or Implementation Project Manager role

• Prior experience in a Sales Engineer or related position is preferred

• Prior construction industry expereince or an understanding of construction processes is preferred

• Demonstrated strong analytical, process-oriented mindset and capability.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to solve problems using a creative and logical mindset.

• 4-year college degree is preferred

• Preference for residing in the Central U.S.

• Travel up to 75%.

Compensation

Commensurate with associated experience. OTE will base/commission split.

Location/Travel

While the position is remote, travel is required (up to 75%) and location east of the Mississippi is preferred due to regional responsibilities.
