The Research Project Coordinator will work closely with the principal investigator, Dr. Kobulsky, to direct and execute NICHD-funded research. The project coordinator will perform a high level of independent research and coordination activities, including project administration, development of research protocols and guidelines, and coordination of data collection, analysis, and dissemination. Primary responsibilities will be split across two NICHD-funded projects, the New Foundations project (a measurement development study about adolescent neglect) and the Never Again project (a mixed methods study examining child sexual abuse recurrence). The position is for 2-years, contingent on available funds and performance.

Essential functions:
*Manage and execute research-related functions, including literature review, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, development of research materials and protocols, preparation and revision of dissemination products, and presentation of study results.
*Coordinate and conduct recruitment and data collection, including providing oversight of recruitment and informed consent, engaging participants, conducting interviews, administering surveys, and processing incentives.
*Manage administrative functions, including scheduling meetings, coordinating agendas, minutes, and action steps, overseeing team communications and website development, and processing of project expenses.
*Train and coordinate student workers.
*Apply working knowledge in child maltreatment, child welfare, adverse child experiences, child deprivation, trauma, and/or related areas to inform project development, execution, and dissemination.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of related work experience. A master's degree with formal research training is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities:
*Excellent organization skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
*Excellent communicator with ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team and with community partners.
*Self-motivated and reliable. Ability to work independently to solve problems.
*Ability to exercise a high degree of self-, trauma-, and intercultural awareness to engage youth and parents in sensitive research.
*Basic data management skills and proficiency in spreadsheet and/or statistical analysis software (e.g., Microsoft excel).
*Working knowledge of survey platform software (e.g., RedCap).
*Strong writing and oral presentation abilities, including experience with scholarly dissemination.
*Knowledge of research ethics and regulatory systems, and ability to strictly adhere to ethical protocols. CITI-certified or eligible.

Preferred:
*Spanish language fluency.
*Ability to work within a fully in person or hybrid arrangement.

This position requires a background check.
This position requires Child Abuse Certifications prior to the commencement of service.
This is a grant funded position.
