A Lead Project Coordinator should be able to fulfill various duties and responsibilities. They should be able to partner with project managers and other key resources to create comprehensive action plans concerning resources, budgets and timeframes for projects. Additionally, the lead project coordinator will assist the project leadership team with demand and capacity across the IT organization, portfolio management, including release planning, intake and prioritization processes.

What you will do:

  • With little to no supervision maintains and monitors project schedules, the resource demand by area, budgets, and expenditures
  • Support planning and governance with thorough capacity and demand analysis across various teams and skill sets
  • Maintain project priority lists, approval and slotting information
  • Support new project idea intake process and maintain idea status, gather estimates and maintain idea backlog
  • Organizing, attending, and participating in release planning and governance meetings
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings including capacity and demand management analysis & data illustrations
  • Train other team members on PPM tools
  • Creation of workflows detailing out new processes (i.e. Demand & Capacity, Change Management, Intake, etc.)
  • Ensuring planning deadlines are met
  • Supporting project change process
  • Supporting Portfolio Management meetings & tasks in various SharePoint, PPM tools, JIRA, and excel
  • Undertaking project tasks as required
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Ensure governance views are managed towards the best solution.
  • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members
  • Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective

What will you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field of study
  • 7+ years of experience in a related field
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Expert Excel skills
  • Excellent ability to manipulate and interrupt data
  • Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines

Base Salary Range

$70,800.00 - $99,975.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
