We're hiring an Employee Engagement Liaison to join our Souderton, PA based Human Resources Team on a Part Time basis. Please note, this position will be fully in-person for first 6 months, then move to hybrid.

Key Position Details

  • Hours: 29 hours per week
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday between 8am - 5pm (5 days a week); some flexiblity needed for after hour events
  • Work Arrangement:
    • Initally in-office (minimum of 6 months)
    • Transitioning to hybrid of 3 days in office, 2 days work from home


Responsibilities

Partners with the Director of Human Resources and Manager of Employee Engagement to ensure engagement and inclusive strategies are supported across the footprint

Responsible for developing and creating content for Univest newsletter and similar communications with the support of Marketing

Supports the mentor program and Employee Resource Groups through ongoing communication and planning meetings and events.

Conducts quarterly conversations discussing a range of inclusivity topics

Assists with monthly new employee training on topics such as Psychological Safety and inclusivity

Tracks and reports on Inclusive topics to HR Director and Manager of Employee Engagement for communication with the Board of Directors and employees

Supports efforts of Employee Engagement, including but not limited to event planning assistance, reviewing survey results, participating in events and organizing schedules for multiple locations

Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.

Perform other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

Experience working with inclusion-related initiatives

Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Experience in newsletter article writing preferred

Ability to work as part of an organizational team

Ability to build strong relationships, implement change, build credibility, and interface effectively with all levels of the organization

Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion; set and maintain privacy standards, apply policies with consistency, use creativity in problem solving; ability to use sound judgment and retain a positive outlook under pressure.

Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint.

Exceptional public speaking ability

Experience with SharePoint helpful

Team player with a sense of humor

Willingness and ability to travel, as needed, to offices in the organizational footprint, outside meetings and to be available for consultation within and outside office hours.

Wage Range:

The salary for this position ranges from $25.00 to $30.00/hr
