Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth by managing customer relationships, responding to inquiries, generating quotes, and supporting the outside sales team. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless sales process from initial inquiry through order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and CRM systems.
- Generate and follow up on quotes, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Support outside sales representatives with technical data, pricing, and product availability.
- Maintain and update customer records and sales opportunities in Salesforce or equivalent CRM.
- Proactively reach out to existing and potential customers to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, logistics, customer service) to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare formal proposals and coordinate with distribution and internal teams to meet customer requirements.
- Track and report on sales metrics, pipeline activity, and customer feedback.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree.
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Technical background with the ability to read specifications and develop proposals.
