The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The pharmacist is responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical care to all patient age groups including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric and neonatal patients.

They are responsible for the preparation, dispensing and monitoring of both the prescribing and effectiveness of all medications and IV admixtures, they exercise considerable independent decision making.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Completion of course at an accredited School of Pharmacy, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD
  • Registration in New Jersey as a pharmacist; current New Jersey licensure required
  • Hospital pharmacy experience desirable
  • Familiarity with all phases of hospital pharmacy
  • Working knowledge of health care matters
  • Understanding of role of pharmacy department within the hospital, its interrelationships with other departments and functions
  • Successful completion of all orientations

Scheduling Requirements

  • Ful-Time schedule and hours based on business needs of department.
