Renewable Energy & Power Decarb Manager (Rio Tinto Services Inc., South Jordan, UT) Structure, negotiate and deliver renewable energy and decarbonization procurement projects, including Power Purchase Agreements. Lead the financial modelling, feasibility and assessment of renewable energy solutions for mining sites and projects globally. End-to-end in-house renewable energy project development (wind, solar, storage). Development of relevant investment and business cases and management of project delivery. Identification and management of industry and other partners and stakeholders, and negotiation to deliver best-in-class renewable energy outcomes across our assets (IPPs, EPC, OEM and suppliers, utilities, grid operators, developers). Work with grid and utility services teams to ensure seamless project integration in micro-grids. Partner with the business on options analysis, both quantitative and qualitative. Provision of accurate and timely assessment of development issues, risks, and opportunities. Telecommuting permitted up to 20% per week. Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business or a related field and 7 years of related work experience. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, employer will accept an additional 2 years of related work experience.
