Overview R&P is looking for a motivated professional who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Senior Acquisition Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment. Responsibilities We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Acquisition Analyst to support the most complex surface ship modernization effort ever undertaken. The position directly supports the DDG Modernization 2.0 Program Management Office (PMS 451) within NAVSEA at the Washington Navy Yard and requires a strong on-site presence. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proactive mindset, driven to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions. They should demonstrate strong attention to detail, a commitment to continuous learning, and the ability to contribute positively as part of a team. A passion for problem-solving and a desire to make meaningful contributions to program success are key qualities for this role. Duties include but are not limited to:
Apply knowledge of DoD acquisition, contract, technical, and business management to provide effective management and oversight of the program
