As a Mental Health Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing quality care for those dealing with substance use, and mental, and behavioral challenges across the state of Idaho. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a focus on providing comprehensive therapeutic services to clients and their families. Responsibilities



  • Individual sessions
  • Group sessions
  • Develop & execute treatment plans, fostering positive outcomes.
  • Apply trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions to help clients overcome challenges.
  • Keep accurate records of client progress, plans, and relevant information.
  • Work together with a diverse team to provide client care.
  • Participate in clinical supervision sessions as required by state regulations
  • Stay updated on industry trends, research, and best practices in mental health counseling.
  • Adhere to all licensing and certification requirements as mandated by IDAPA.


Experience



  • Master's degree
  • Licensure accepted: LPC, LMSW, LAMFT, LMFT, LCPC, LCSW
  • 0-2 years
  • Proficient in creating treatment plans
  • Skilled in group facilitation
  • Desired expertise in trauma-informed interventions
  • Strong organizational abilities required
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills essential
  • Capable of collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Familiarity with electronic health records preferred
  • Must maintain professional licensure
  • Adaptability to fast-paced environments and multitasking is a must


Requirements



  • Ability to use the computer and web-based software.
  • Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
  • Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all requirements of the job.
