Position Summary

The Senior ERP Developer is responsible for designing and building business applications and support functions based upon identified business requirements and best practice. The role leads the implementation of strategic business objectives with an emphasis on application architecture and applies advanced analysis skills and experience in principles of architecting, designing, demonstrating, and positioning Dynamics F&O based solutions. The Senior ERP Developer will plan, coordinate, architect, and supervise all activities related to the integration of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions as required to meet the business requirements of the organization. This position is also responsible for researching and resolving all reported issues, manages large, complex deployments and configurations of systems through analysis and customization, and ensures the D365 system integrates seamlessly with the existing infrastructure

Essential Functions

  • Design and architect end-to-end solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (Finance & Supply Chain modules).
  • Lead technical discussions, perform solution/code reviews, and ensure adherence to D365 F&O best practices.
  • Develop and customize solutions using X++, C#, SQL, AIF, and DMF.
  • Create and modify SSRS reports, forms, classes, data structures, and other D365 F&O components.
  • Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and release pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Conduct system upgrades, apply hotfixes, and ensure alignment with Microsoft's release calendar.
  • Manage and maintain ISV solutions and actively contribute to end-to-end release management activities
  • Ensure improvement of all architectural processes within a time frame and provide training to all development teams to maintain project deliverable and reduce costs.
  • Responsible for configuration management and documentation of application and system topologies. Prepares technical implementation plans and provide integrated solutions including actions, milestones timelines, and critical paths required for complete solutions.
  • Manage all communication with IT and business managers.
  • Design various integration programs and prepare required documents for same and execute various integration platforms.
  • Partner with customers and vendors to implement system functionality based on business needs.
  • Provide a balanced workload between in-house and outsourced resources and manages the ongoing business systems related projects.
  • Maintain an efficient technical environment for all client services and document all architectural plans and provide support to all business and assemble all system components.
  • Create and enable business process flows; Identify and Implement workflows.
  • Monitor all metadata content for development community and ensure appropriate allocation of all resources.
  • Responsible for developing and educating others with regards to product- specific best practices.
  • Assist customers in all integration processes and design various architecture programs for all application layers.
  • Maintain oversight for all third-party processes.
  • Analyze metrics and measure effectiveness of programs and return on investment goals.
  • Ensure/oversee the daily operations and support of the system. Analyze, design and implement process improvement changes across different departments.
  • Review existing systems, perform gap analysis and define requirements to address the gaps.
  • Review efficiency of the latest software and analyze potential solutions to ensure future needs are met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in the field of computer science, or related field with 8+ years of experience is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing entity ownership; managing entity properties; understanding system and custom entities is required.
  • 5+ years of experience and in-depth knowledge with various data exchange platforms/options is required.
  • 5+ years of experience understanding when to use business rules; understanding business rules scope; understanding how business rules are triggered is required.
  • 5 + years of experience problem solving and knowledge of D365 F&O best practices is required.
  • Experience creating web portals for enterprise MS Dynamics 365 F&O applications is required
  • Experience customizing Dynamics 365 F&O forms and implementing D365 F&O views and visualizations is required.
  • Experience with X++, C# and SQL required.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline setup and code management required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects and meet stated customer-initiated deadlines.
  • Ability to form and maintain relationships and gain trust and respect from Stakeholders - internal and external
  • High aptitude for understanding and learning new software packages, and the ability to understand end business processes is essential.
  • Proficiency in implementing reliable, complex, secure, high performance and scalable solutions from Manufacturing to production.
  • Proficient in SSRS, AIF, DMF, and customization of D365 F&O objects.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform Center.
  • Proficiency with Multi tenants and D365 environments
  • Strong working understanding of Microsoft release management and ISV lifecycle maintenance.
  • Ability to communicate with non-IT staff at all levels
  • Ability to think strategically but adopt a hands-on approach and roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
  • Strong working knowledge/experience of healthcare and business applications
  • Ability to execute Software development using Microsoft .NET, C# and JavaScript.
  • Be well versed in different testing methodologies, tools and techniques.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and data security.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills

Working Environment / Physical Environment

  • This position works on site or remote depending upon the candidate's geographic location.
  • Regular work schedule is Monday - Friday, within standard business hours. Flexibility is available with manager approval.
  • Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer.
  • Lift and carry materials weighing up to 20 pounds.

This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus and equity award. The annual base pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications, prior experience as well as geographic location.

National Market

$130,500 (entry-level qualifications) to $145,000 (highly experienced) annually

Premium Market

$153,000 (entry-level qualifications) to $170,000 (highly experienced) annually
