The Lecturer is a non-tenure-track faculty member who carries out special instructional functions such as basic skills instruction. The majority of a Lecturer's job duties must include teaching.

The Scheller College of Business (scheller.gatech.edu) at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking experienced candidates to fill a vacancy at the rank of Non-Tenure Track Lecturer, starting in fall 2025. The primary duties will be to teach and provide service to the College, the Institute, and the profession. This is a one-year, full-time 40 hour per week position. The position may be extended beyond a year based on sufficiently successful expansion of Scheller executive education programs in Europe.

Duties

The primary duties will be to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and provide service to the College, the Institute, and the profession. Mentoring of students and program development are also required. This position is a full time 40 hour per week position.

Responsibilities include maintaining a 4-course per year, 3 credit teaching load for undergraduate as well as graduate students in the area of Marketing, including two courses joint between the Online Master of Science in Analytics and Online Master of Science in Computer Science programs. This position also includes a strong service load, working with the Senior Associate Dean for Strategic Initiatives and key stakeholders in Georgia Tech Europe to explore and help implement Scheller's executive education programs in Europe in collaboration with Georgia Tech Europe campus in Metz, France.

A Master's in Business administration or similar discipline is required.

Candidates should demonstrate excellence in teaching, experience in program development, and fluency in French.

A Ph.D. in Marketing or related discipline.
