Description Day to day: -Daily stand-ups -Setting up test environment -Working on new stories and building out test suites -Collaborating with engineers and product teams -Potentially validating and triaging support issues Initially will need to help out with setting up the test environment entirely from scratch. They do not have the bandwidth or time to help or coach someone through it due to capacity restraints. Someone must own this piece before some of the desired testing needs can begin. 10-15% of time spend on meetings 10-15% of time spent on tickets Remaining time all focused on build portions majority of time spent Manual testing is not sustainable and directly impacting velocity. 4 systems to track: 2 dev applications, Navigator and Member Portal App (Javascript, React, backed by restful services, microservices hosted in Azure) Skills Quality assurance, Automation, Quality assurance testing, Selenium Top Skills Details Quality assurance, Automation, Quality assurance testing Additional Skills & Qualifications Collaborative and positive attitude. needs someone confident, self starter, able to just dig in and start working with little ramp up time. Role: QA Automation Engineer Description of work to be performed: Stand up a test environment for our client then perform automation testing. Specified productivity speed/number of tasks/amount of material: Above Time frame for completion: Above Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
