Manufacturing Engineer - 2nd Shift (Aerospace Composites) Tallassee, AL\| 2nd Shift\| Full-Time \| Advanced Manufacturing \| Relocation Assistance Available We're looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Engineerto join our2nd shift teaminTallassee, Alabama, supporting both operational and development programs in our aerospace composites facility. You'll play a key role in driving process improvements, solving technical challenges, and helping us deliver zero-defect products. What You'll Do Solve complex manufacturing problems and support production integration. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce non-conformances. Design and implement tooling and production planning from concept to production. Support quoting, configuration changes, and first article development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet program goals. Drive continuous improvement using Lean principles. Maintain strong working relationships across teams and shifts. Perform other duties as needed to support 2nd shift operations. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering. Available to work 2nd shift, supporting production needs during off-hours. Must be a U.S. Person (Citizen, Green Card holder, refugee, or asylee) per ITAR requirements. What Helps You Stand Out Experience with aerospace composites or metallics. Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset. Ability to work independently and adapt to different manufacturing environments. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience mentoring or coaching team members.
