The DBE and Workforce Associate provides administrative and field-level support to ensure compliance with DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise), local hire, and workforce development requirements on public infrastructure projects. This role assists in tracking subcontractor participation, engaging community-based organizations, supporting outreach and reporting efforts, and coordinating with various stakeholders to promote project diversity and inclusion goals.

What you will be doing

    Collect, organize, and maintain documentation for DBE and workforce compliance reporting.
  • Support outreach to DBE firms, local workforce agencies, and community-based organizations.
  • Assist in coordinating job fairs, orientations, and workforce development events.
  • Monitor and track labor hours and workforce data to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide onboarding support to subcontractors and workforce participants.
  • Conduct site visits to verify participation and gather required compliance information.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, subcontractors, and external partners to meet project goals.
  • Assist with preparing and submitting compliance reports to agencies and project stakeholders.


What we are looking for

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
  • Experience in compliance, workforce development, community engagement, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
