Director of Content Strategy


Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Director of Content Strategy to lead ourbrand storytelling efforts and manage the full lifecycle of editorial content. In this role, you'll
oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive content strategy-one that strengthens brand identity, engages our target audiences, and delivers measurable business outcomes. A key focus of this position is operationalizing our editorial content function. You'll own our editorial calendar, streamline production workflows, and ensure consistent, high-quality content delivery across channels.


What You'll Do:

* Lead Editorial Content Management: Own and maintain a centralized editorial calendar that maps content across themes, formats, and campaigns to ensure consistency,
timeliness, and strategic alignment.
* Establish Scalable Content Workflows: Define and optimize content productionprocesses, including briefing, review cycles, approvals, publishing, and performancetracking.
* Drive Multi-Format Content Creation: Lead the production of content across video, casestudies, blog posts, thought leadership, white papers, and digital assets.
* Align Content with Business Strategy: Develop and execute a content strategy thatsupports brand goals and business objectives-including pipeline generation, brandawareness, and customer engagement.
* Build Content Franchises: Launch and evolve branded editorial series or franchises thatdeepen audience engagement and position us as a thought leader.
* Manage Teams and Partners: Direct remote writers, editors, designers, and agencypartners to deliver high-quality, on-brand content on time and at scale.
* Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with executive leadership, product marketing,demand generation, and comms teams to ensure unified messaging and goal alignment.
* Measure and Optimize: Monitor performance using content analytics, conversion data,and engagement metrics to inform ongoing strategy improvements.
* Champion Editorial Excellence: Balance creativity and storytelling with editorial rigor,brand voice consistency, and audience value.


What You'll Bring:

* 7+ years in B2B content strategy, editorial leadership, or brand marketing with a strongemphasis on content operations and storytelling
* Proven experience building and managing editorial calendars and content workflows atscale
* Strong background in editorial content management-from blog and article planning tofinal production and distribution
* Demonstrated ability to create and scale content programs that deliver business results
(e.g., MQLs, pipeline, engagement, brand lift)
* Experience in video content development, as well as written formats like case studiesand white papers
* Experience managing and collaborating with remote creative teams and externalagencies
* Fluency with marketing analytics platforms and applying data to optimize contentperformance
* Familiarity with content and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Airtable,Monday.com, Notion, or similar)
* Excellent editorial judgment, copywriting sensibility, and attention to voice, tone, anddetail
