How You'll Contribute to the Team: The Vice President will define and execute strategies that drive and realize growth to ensure short/long-term success of the venture's mission. This role will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic partnerships, shaping early-stage projects, navigating Initially the DoD and MHPI organizational ecosystem, and converting opportunities into close and then expansion. The success of this role requires strong business acumen, program development capability, and credibility to engage senior military and government stakeholders. Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Identify, engage, develop, and maintain positive relationships with key DoD and MHPI stakeholders across all branches, agencies, and related contractors.
- Serve as a trusted advisor ('influencer') to government partners, translating mission needs into Vitacorps scalable technical and operational solutions.
- Lead the full lifecycle of partnership revenue development-from opportunity identification and qualification to project development and deal closure.
- Drive proposal development efforts, including communicating the objectives and benefits of Vitacorps, shaping SOWs, teaming agreements, and price strategies.
- Effectively collaborate with internal teams, to bridge technical and operational teams, as you shape partnership solutions tailored to DoD mission needs and/or MHPI partners.
- Serve as the key point of contract for partners from pre-revenue to initial deal, to renewal/ expansion to proactive communicate with and manage the relationships.
- Track and manage pipeline opportunities as required and provide regular reporting to executive leadership.
- Keep informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, market conditions, and external factors that could impact prospect decision making; utilize information to inform stakeholder management.
- Understand and incorporate customer/resident needs to drive partnership strategies
- Monitor the overall competitive landscape and track relevant information to effectively communicate differentiators and value-add provided through Vitacorps solution.
- Represent the organization at key industry events, briefings, and military innovation forums.
- Other duties as assigned.
Role Specific Requirements Include:
- 10+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or project development
- Preferable experiences with start-up environment and/or within the DoD ecosystem.
- Deep and active network of relationships across DoD branches and/or MHPI providers (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Space Force, and relevant agencies).
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and influence key decision makers and stakeholders in a transparent and open manner, across multi-faceted communication channels.
- Proven ability to develop project concepts that align with mission outcomes and navigate procurement and/or funding processes.
- Preferable strong understanding of DoD procurement frameworks, innovation channels, and contracting vehicles.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, change management and presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of taking initiative and delivering results.
- Data driven mind-set, who has a track record for defining, measuring and reporting on key success metrics to deliver measurable impact.
- Ability to work independently and communicate across technical and non-technical teams.
- High integrity and personal credibility.
- Familiarity and experience with indoor environmental quality, indoor wellness technologies and/or proven experience in quickly learning new technologies.

Exceptional Benefits for Exceptional Team Members The salary range for this position is estimated to be $175,000 to $200,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and work location.
