Now, we're entering a new phase of growth and are looking for a highly skilled and experienced IT Professional to join our team, contributing to ensure the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will thrive working in an innovative and fast-paced work environment, have a strong technical background, have excellent critical thinking skills, and will play a pivotal role in managing the IT team, overseeing IT projects, and ensuring cybersecurity.

What You'll Do


  • Lead and manage the IT team, including training, performance evaluation, and workload prioritization.
  • Continuously assess and improve IT processes, staying current with technology trends and opportunities for automation.
  • Plan and execute IT projects, ensuring on-time delivery, stakeholder communication, and budget adherence.
  • Provide hands-on technical support and guidance across IT systems, including Microsoft 365, Windows/Linux servers, and endpoint devices.
  • Partner with Information Security to implement and maintain cybersecurity controls to respond to incidents and support compliance requirements.
  • Maintain IT vendor relationships and manage related contracts and service levels.
  • Develop and manage the IT department budget, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (CMMC, ITAR).


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ Years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
  • Strong technical expertise in Microsoft 365 and knowledge of IT systems and networks.
  • Proven experience in project management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with enterprise networking technologies (Cisco, Fortinet) strongly preferred.
  • Certification in IT Management or a related field (PMP, ITIL) is preferred.


Physical Requirements

This role may require periods of sitting, standing, and walking in an office environment. This position may also involve occasional physical activities such as bending, reaching, and kneeling to access equipment or cabling. The ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds is necessary for tasks such as moving hardware, servers, or other IT-related equipment. This role may include extended use of computers, monitors, and other office equipment, necessitating good manual dexterity and vision.

Work Environment

This position operates primarily in a professional office environment with occasional work in a manufacturing setting. It requires the use of standard office equipment and systems. This role involves cross-departmental collaboration and both independent and team-based responsibilities. Standard work hours for this position are 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime or off-hour work as business needs arise.

ITAR Requirement

In compliance with International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR), candidates must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) or individuals granted asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
