Major/Essential Functions

• Assist with tissue culture techniques.
• Assist with manipulating pipettors.
• Work independently and with a lab team.
• Assist with running report on research data collected.

Required Qualifications

High school or equivalent and one year work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior biomedical research experience, experience with mammalian cell culture, transfections, ultracentrifugation, confocal microscopy, vascular biology, laboratory rodent handling and husbandry, and dissections are preferred

Special Instructions to Applicants

Required Qualifications: A BS in Biology, Microbiology, Cell & Molecular Biology, or related field. The ability to manipulate pipettors, lift up to 25 lbs, perform microscopy, professionally communicate, learn new techniques, work independently and in a team, safely work with laboratory rodents, hazardous chemicals, and biological hazards is necessary. Appointment is contingent on the university's verification of any information required by law and/or university policies, and availability of funds.
