We depend on our talented and dedicated team members to provide reliable products with personalized service-and right now, we're seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our team in Astatula, FL.

Job Duties:


  • Perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during manufacturing
  • Inspect materials, parts, and products at different stages of production
  • Record observations and recommend process improvements
  • Regularly observe production (setup, casting, stripping, and storage)
  • Collaborate with production to resolve quality issues
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment
  • Complete other tasks as needed

Work Environment:


  • Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot temperatures
  • Work near moving machinery and equipment - could include electrical hazards
  • Work in a noisy environment


Physical Requirements:


  • Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds frequently
  • Carrying/Lifting > 40 Pounds occasionally
  • Standing / Walking / Climbing
  • Squatting/Crouching/Kneeling/Bending
  • Pushing / Pulling / Reaching Above Shoulder


Experience & Qualifications:


  • Understanding of a manufacturing environment
  • Concrete plant and/or quality control experience preferred
  • Ability to interpret shop drawings & job specs
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Strong math aptitude
  • Ability to train and earn certifications (supported by the company)
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal & communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years prior experience in manufacturing preferred
  • Construction/building materials industry experience a plus, but not required
