About the Job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Purchaser/Inventory Specialist to manage the procurement of parts and maintain accurate inventory levels. This role ensures that the right parts and supplies are available when needed to support operations, service, and production needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, order, and purchase parts, equipment, and supplies from approved vendors.

• Maintain and monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations.

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.

• Organize and manage inventory storage for easy access and accurate tracking.

• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing.

• Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and usage.

• Collaborate with service teams or departments to forecast parts needs.

• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in purchasing, inventory management, or a similar role preferred.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work with vendors and negotiate pricing when needed.

• Familiarity with inventory software or ERP systems is a plus.

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets).

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Work Environment:

• This position may require occasional lifting or moving of parts and supplies.

• May involve both office and warehouse settings.
