The Role:

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Production and Engineering the Sr. Manager of Facilities will strategically lead and oversee the operations, maintenance, and development of an organization's physical infrastructure and workspaces. You will ensure that all buildings, grounds, systems, and services support our goals efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively.

What you will do:



  • Strategic Planning & Leadership - Develop long-term facilities strategies aligned with company goals; lead and mentor Facilities/Utilities/Plant Services teams (managers, engineers, technicians, contractor services); oversee budgets, forecasting, and capital improvement planning. Annual capital budget planning and monitoring.
  • Operational Oversight - Ensure day-to-day facility operations run smoothly (maintenance, security, HVAC, etc.); optimize energy use, space management, and sustainability efforts; manage vendor contracts and performance (cleaning, landscaping, security, etc.).
  • Safety and Compliance - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations; lead emergency preparedness and response planning.
  • Project Management - Oversee facility construction, renovations, relocations, and upgrades; coordinate with internal stakeholders, architects, and contractors.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with HR, IT, Finance, and other departments to support workplace needs; serve as a liaison between executive leadership and facilities operations.


What you will need:



  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management or Business Administration.
  • 3+ years project and Construction Management.
  • 5+ years oversight of daily operations for multiple.
  • 5+ years managing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety and building systems.
  • 5+ years managing operational and capital budgets.
  • 5+ years negotiating and managing vendor contracts for services like cleaning, landscaping, security and maintenance.
  • 3+ years ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA and local building codes.
  • 3+ years implementing energy efficiency programs and sustainable practices.
  • 5+ years experience developing talent and leading high performance teams.
