Job Title: Psychological Testing Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:
Join a dynamic, collaborative team committed to providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of psychological assessment. Under the supervision of doctoral-level psychologists, this Psychological Testing Specialist plays an integral role in administering, scoring, and interpreting personality, intelligence, and neuropsychological tests for medical and psychiatric patients.

In this key role, you will assemble patient histories, compile test results for comprehensive psychological reports, and make detailed behavioral observations to support accurate diagnoses and treatment planning. You will also communicate test data to referring providers and participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, presenting findings and offering recommendations for further assessment or therapeutic intervention.



CORE COMPETENCIES:




  • Education:




    • Master's degree in Psychology or a closely related field required.





  • Knowledge:




    • Advanced understanding of psychological assessment methods and best practices.





  • Skills:




    • Proven ability to administer and accurately score a variety of psychological tests.



    • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and prepare clear, precise reports.



    • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.



    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively instruct patients, conduct interviews, and collaborate with clinical teams.





  • Licensure/Certification:




    • Must be eligible for certification as a Psychology Associate by the State of Maryland.





  • Work Experience:




    • Minimum of one (1) year of direct experience conducting psychological testing.



    • Graduate coursework in psychological assessment required.



    • Relevant externship or internship in a clinical or research setting may count toward the experience requirement.





  • Technical Skills:




    • Proficiency with SPSS, Microsoft Office applications, and internet library research tools such as PubMed.



    • Ability to perform basic statistical analyses.

Salary Range: Minimum $24.54/hour - Maximum $40.51/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
