About the Position:

Epic Staffing Group is looking for a Director of Credentialing who will be responsible of providing leadership to Credentialing teams within multiple Strategic Business Unit's (SBU). This position works with SBU and Corporate leadership to ensure department policies, procedures, and processes are aligned to maximize efficiency and customer service, and provides oversight to the Philippines Credentialing team in their assigned SBUs.

What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with the Credentialing leadership to ensure all assigned SBU's credentialin teams are meeting the Company's credentialing standards.

  • Oversee their assigned SBU's Credentialing team to ensure all practitioners fulfill all pertinent regulations/requirements by file due date before the assignment start date at a hospital (HR, skills, tests, certifications, medical etc.).

  • Work with leadership to identify and align training priorities with departmental goals and objectives.

  • Align training with the organization's strategic goals.

  • Oversee implementation and maintenance of credentialing policies and procedures.

  • Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.

  • Establish dashboards and maintain an efficient system of records, monitoring, and reporting, including performance improvement processes, to ensure the SBUs maintains Joint Commission certification.

  • Direct all compliance investigations, responding to and resolving compliance concerns reported or identified with oversight of appropriate parties.

  • Ensure the maintenance and secure storage of all clinician file items submitted or obtained through different credentialing efforts.

  • Develop and update internal department policies and procedures.

  • Serve as the point of contact and coordinate audit activities and file reviews.

  • Manage the performance and development of direct reports.

  • Partner with leadership to ensure team, system, and process effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Oversee the work and duties of the Philippines Credentialing team.

  • Review reports to ensure all practitioner files stay compliant while on assignment.

  • Run reports and conduct audits on higher levels to ensure department processes are being followed, and address issues when they arise.

  • Review any candidate/employee background check and license hits and provides guidance as needed.

  • Assess the bandwidth of the department and team members to ensure it is adequately staffed; create action plans and requisitions when necessary.

  • Communicate department information and updates to Credentialing leadership as necessary.

  • Review all reporting sent by the Philippines as appropriate, initiate audits as deemed appropriate, and review findings with the required teams to implement change.

What You'll Bring:

  • Seven years of experience in education or healthcare staffing credentialing and leading teams.

  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) can substitute for experience.

  • Professional & Technical Expertise: Possess an overall knowledge of business functions and understanding of services, business strategy, policies and procedures, and job's impact to the organization.

  • Analyzing & Interpreting Data: Draw meaning and conclusions from quantitative and/or qualitative data.

  • Critical Thinking: Analytically and logically evaluate information, propositions, and claims.

  • Legal & Regulatory Navigation: Understand, interpret, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

  • Involving Others: Engage others for input, contribution, and shared responsibility for outcomes.

  • Self-Management: Analyze work, set goals, develop plans of action, and utilize time.

  • Managing Performance: Create a motivating climate, achieve teamwork, train, and develop, measure work in progress, take corrective action.

  • Oral Communication: Engage effectively in dialogue.

Salary: $100,00 - $110,000 Annually

The starting salary offer will vary based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. This position may also be eligible to participate in a company incentive plan and/or commission plan.
