We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Administrative Assistant to support the Accounting Department of our healthcare organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of accounting functions by providing administrative support, maintaining accurate records, and facilitating communication within the department and across the organization. *Schedule *: Monday- Friday 8AM- 4:30PM, in-person in Honolulu *Pay*: $20/hr, paid weekly *Duration*: This position will start ASAP and work for 8-9 weeks Key Responsibilities: * Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence. * Assist with data entry, invoice processing, and preparation of financial documents. * Maintain organized filing systems for financial records, both digital and physical. * Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve billing and payment inquiries. * Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as requested by accounting staff. * Ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations in all administrative tasks. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred. * 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in an accounting or healthcare setting. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar). * Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: * Experience working in a healthcare environment. * Knowledge of medical billing and coding terminology. * Familiarity with HIPAA and other healthcare compliance standards. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
