Essential Functions: Peer leaders' goal is to build connection and community inside and outside of the classroom. They will introduce First-Year Students to the SOAR curriculum: Strengthen your study skills, own your education, Advance your degree, Realize your future. Make connections with each other and learn how to set SMART goals. At the same time, they will create social opportunities that promote student-to-student connection, and develop a sense of belonging and leverage campus events and resources. Duties:
Requirements: Desired Qualifications: The incumbent must demonstrate an interest or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the UAS. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or the continued employment of current UAS employees who apply for the position.
