How does this role contribute to our collective success? The Portfolio Analyst is responsible for supporting Portfolio Managers and toolsets to track project delivery, resource allocation, time entry, and costs. They are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of Employee (FTE) and Contractor (FTC) resource pools that work on projects and enhancements, which includes performing updates for on-boarding and off-boarding contractors and employees within project tools.
The Portfolio Analyst may also assist Program and Portfolio Managers in monitoring and maintaining the portfolio budget and updating individual project budgets / forecasts.
The individual must have very strong MS Project, MS Excel & PowerPoint skills with working knowledge of advanced functions (lookups, data manipulation, pivots, and macros).
What will you do in this role? * Maintain the currency and accuracy of FTE and FTC Resource Headcount. * Manage daily updates to MS Project Server for resource onboarding/off-boarding, and resource assignments. * Troubleshoot and support MS Project Server issues and the MS Project Server user community. * Monitor and report weekly on time entry and approval compliance. * Create training materials and deliver training for end users on Project Management tools. * Support the enhancement process and reporting. * Assist with creating and reviewing Executive reporting. * Assist Program and Portfolio Managers in monitoring individual project and portfolio budget. * Assist with generating portfolio reporting, including overall health of project financials and resourcing. * Collaborate with internal business partners to identify a solution and apply a solution with sufficient resources. * You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.

What you need to have: * 1-3 years' experience as a business analyst, project manager or similar. * Bachelor's degree preferred; BS in Computer Science or Business Administration a plus * Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Project skills. * Working knowledge of MS SharePoint and Data Visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI, PowerPivot). * Well organized, with the ability to control and analyze large sets of data. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Self-directed, ability to learn quickly and multi-task. * Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with numerous Project Managers and Resources.
Role Factors: In this role, you will typically be required to: Embrace the hybrid culture offered at AXIS, you need to be in office 3 days per week. Much of the work involves using computers for data entry, analysis, and communication. Comfort with prolonged screen time is necessary. While much of the work may be desk-bound, there might be occasions requiring mobility within the office environment, such as attending meetings or accessing filing systems.
What we offer: For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of $84,000.00 - $112,000.00. Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location. In addition, you will be offered competitive target incentive compensation, with awards based on overall corporate and individual performance.
