Job Title: AV Support Technician
Location: On-site in Cambridge, MA Contract Type: Ongoing Contract (year to year ) Pay Range: $25-$35/hour Overview: We're hiring a personable and driven AV Support Technician to join our team in Cambridge, MA. This is an on-site, ongoing contract role with no current end date-ideal for someone with a solid foundation in AV support and a passion for growing in the field. This role has the potential to convert into a permanent position with the end client, offering long-term career growth. Key Responsibilities: * Provide hands-on support for AV systems including projectors, microphones, speakers, video conferencing setups, and control systems. * Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues in classrooms, conference rooms, and event spaces. * Deliver white glove support to executives and high-profile users, ensuring seamless and professional AV experiences. * Collaborate with IT and facilities teams to maintain and improve AV infrastructure. * Assist with system upgrades, installations, and preventative maintenance. * Deliver excellent customer service to faculty, staff, and students. What We're Looking For: * 1-4 years of experience in AV or technical support roles. * Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-facing demeanor. * Passion for AV technology and eagerness to learn and grow in the field. * Familiarity with AV systems (Crestron, Extron, Zoom Rooms, etc.) is a plus. * Ability to lift and move equipment and work in a fast-paced environment. * Experience providing executive or white glove support is a major plus. Preferred Qualifications: * AV certifications such as CTS or manufacturer-specific training are a huge plus. * Experience in a higher education or corporate AV environment. Additional Info: * Background check is required. * Standard business hours; occasional support for events may be needed. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
