Job Summary:

The Care Advocate Sr. Manager will lead and develop a high-performance, call center management team and workforce. Will foster a culture of accountability, emphasizing people and performance management, coaching and development, and employee engagement. Skilled in contact center and long-term development execution. Will surpass KPI benchmarks while incorporating member and provider feedback. Incorporate data-driven decision requests and planning, including staffing projections, technology, and operational changes. Will cultivate across the organization partnerships through clear communication and transparency. Through the balance of people, technical know-how, and strategic skills will grow the membership and integrate our systems.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, Master's degree preferred, in health care administration or business management
  • 5+ years' experience in Group Insurance products and operational practices
  • 5+ years customer service experience for a health care company or a health plan
  • 5+ years' experience managing P&L, budgeting, forecasting and collaboration with executive leadership
  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to influence and persuade internally and externally while driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to promote data driven decision making throughout the organization
  • Expertise in software implementation, technology adoption and an understanding of which tools work best to meet the needs of organization
  • Experienced in information preparation for required regulatory audits
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written, oral, and active listening communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, contact center and training platforms, workforce management and project/team management software
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing large scale projects
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

  • Experience in building and maintain provider relationships.
  • Highly accountable, organized, detailed
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives
