Description Join our dynamic research team and contribute to cutting-edge cancer research in a collaborative academic environment. In this role, you will: Drive discovery through hands-on research-perform advanced molecular biology techniques, immunohistochemistry, and cancer cell culture, including 3D tumor modeling. Support high-impact studies-conduct high-throughput drug screening and molecular assays such as PCR, DNA sequencing, and protein analysis. Leverage innovative technologies-analyze complex datasets from genomic sequencing, multiplex ELISA, and high-dimensional imaging using the CODEX platform (Akoya Biosciences). Mentor future scientists-train and supervise undergraduate assistants in lab techniques and data interpretation. Ensure seamless operations-manage lab inventory, maintain sample records, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements (EH&S, IRB, Animal Research Committees). Salary: $26.56 - $31.63/hour Qualifications Required: Strong background in molecular biology techniques, including sterile technique and tissue culture (with experience in 3D tumor models). Proficiency in immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Experience training and mentoring undergraduate lab assistants. Comfort working with biohazardous materials and following safety protocols. Preferred Qualifications Experience analyzing large datasets using tools such as Excel or GraphPad Prism. Prior experience with patient biopsy samples and/or IRB or animal research protocols.
