Join our dynamic research team and contribute to cutting-edge cancer research in a collaborative academic environment. In this role, you will:

  • Drive discovery through hands-on research-perform advanced molecular biology techniques, immunohistochemistry, and cancer cell culture, including 3D tumor modeling.
  • Support high-impact studies-conduct high-throughput drug screening and molecular assays such as PCR, DNA sequencing, and protein analysis.
  • Leverage innovative technologies-analyze complex datasets from genomic sequencing, multiplex ELISA, and high-dimensional imaging using the CODEX platform (Akoya Biosciences).
  • Mentor future scientists-train and supervise undergraduate assistants in lab techniques and data interpretation.
  • Ensure seamless operations-manage lab inventory, maintain sample records, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements (EH&S, IRB, Animal Research Committees).

Salary: $26.56 - $31.63/hour

Qualifications Required:
  • Strong background in molecular biology techniques, including sterile technique and tissue culture (with experience in 3D tumor models).
  • Proficiency in immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Experience training and mentoring undergraduate lab assistants.
  • Comfort working with biohazardous materials and following safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience analyzing large datasets using tools such as Excel or GraphPad Prism.
  • Prior experience with patient biopsy samples and/or IRB or animal research protocols.
