Job DescriptionOverview: Assists the Operations Manager and exercises delegated authority in overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of subordinate supervisors, lead person and workers engaged in the assembly and shipping of Utility Poles as defined by established assembly procedures and build schedule while strictly following all established safety, environmental and shipping requirements, Essential Duties and Responsibilities include those listed below. Other duties may be assigned. This position is a full-time (minimum 40 hours per week) on-site position
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises operations supervisors and indirectly 40 employees across two shifts in accordance with the Company's policies, practices, and procedures. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. QualificationsQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: Associate degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering or Industrial Technology required plus 3-5 years' industrial manufacturing experience with 2 or more years supervisory experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
