Genesis10 is currently seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ, and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Track and report Never Down for DevEx Communicate remediation solutions with partners and track efforts to committed remediation dates May be asked to assist in or lead other Infrastructure projects as needed Communicate with Senior Leadership and leaders on Partner teams regularly Provide application lifecycle oversight of software for the Employee Experience Technology suite of applications/software Provide escalation assistance to application teams to support the planned remediation timeline Proactively communicate to inform technology partners as products become declining or not permitted to ensure core technology versions are in use Take the time to understand what is driving their project, why this project needs to happen, and by when the project needs to be completed Establish realistic timelines and get commitment from the key project team members on the delivery timelines Ask questions when they don't understand Research the basics of unfamiliar technology to broaden their technical acumen Actively facilitate technical discussions with the project team Maintain detailed WBS's with dependencies, ownership, and committed task durations Keep WBS current and frequently review the WBS with the project team validating commitment and publish meeting minutes and capture action items from the meeting Requirements: Demonstrate the ability to take a bigger view of NPT, to look for correlations of products, and bring a holistic view to NPT; for example, recognizing when the remediation of certain key components will have extended impact since it will cover other product remediation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical skills to organize data (pivot tables) for reporting Results-driven individual An understanding of task delivery for various components of software solutions and/or infrastructure service solutions delivery including network connectivity, midrange server build, virtual server build, storage, performance/capacity planning and monitoring of infrastructure health Able to communicate to management technical issues that is impeding their project and what actions and who is taking those actions to resolve the issue Able to quickly adapt to what impact this issue has on the project timeline and make recommendations if the timeline needs to be adjusted Pay Range: $63.94-$71.94 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
