Corporate Accountant We are working with a well-established, Atlanta-based corporation in their search for a Corporate Accountant. The Corporate Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, and maintaining GAAP compliance. Responsibilities include: Perform monthly close procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations Prepare and review profit and loss statements and balance sheets Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Analyze cost of goods sold (COGS) and investigate variances Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies Support internal controls and process improvements Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to financial accuracy and insight Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting 1-2+ years of relevant accounting experience Hands-on experience with: General ledger accounting Month-end close processes Journal entries and reconciliations P&L and Balance Sheet review Variance analysis and explanation Bank reconciliations Strong communication skills and professional presence Demonstrated job stability and a track record of reliability Eagerness to learn, collaborate with a strong team, and build a long-term career in accounting Note - Seeking Atlanta-based talent for this opportunity.
