Program Manager, Lead

The Opportunity:

An effective program requires a manager who is passionate about guiding it through the complexities of its lifecycle. It requires someone who is dedicated to identifying challenges, mitigating risks, and supporting a team with vision and focus. That's why we need you, a seasoned program manager who can ensure our program achieves success.

As a lead program manager on our team, you'll design, implement, and maintain impactful programs by providing overarching leadership, strategic guidance, and day-to-day management of all contractual, technical, and administrative operations. The DoD will trust you to organize and coordinate program objectives, while your team will look to you for direction as they navigate requirements, budget constraints, and staffing challenges. You'll identify opportunities to grow the business by supporting your client's mission. You'll also broaden your expertise in problem management, strategic planning, reviewing contracts, and more. This is your chance to impact defense while sharing your knowledge and expertise in program management methodologies.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the client's primary point of contact (POC) and interface with senior client stakeholders on all programmatic, technical, and resource-related matters.
  • Provide authoritative leadership and direction for all contractor personnel, including task assignment, supervision of technical efforts, and performance management.
  • Lead cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams, including multiple CONUS and OCONUS performance locations.
  • Ensure quality, timeliness, and efficiency across all aspects of program execution, including technical deliverables, business processes, risk management, and resource planning.
  • Develop and oversee project plans, operational procedures, and technical methodologies aligned with mission goals.
  • Regularly brief client leadership on project milestones, issues, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Manage acquisition, employment, and oversight of project resources, including assisting with budgets, staffing, and procurement.
  • Possess full authority to commit contractor resources and make binding decisions in response to client concerns and emergent issues.
  • Be proactive in identifying and resolving contractual, programmatic, or personnel-related challenges.

Join us. The world can't wait.

You Have:

  • 15+ years of experience managing complex IT and intelligence programs including the AISR Transport Infrastructure field, Special Operations Forces (SOF), or Joint Special Operations
  • 5+ years of experience in senior leadership roles overseeing multi-location and multidisciplinary teams on performance-based contracts
  • Experience with Satellite Communications and transport capabilities containing GEO, LEO, and MEO satellites, in conjunction with satellite modem technologies
  • Experience managing contracts, including coordination with interagency and DoD partners on a global scale
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture, baseline strategies, operations goals, and all aspects of functional or capability-oriented positions
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree in Business Management or Business Administration
  • Project Management Institute (PMI), Project Management Professional (PMP), or PMI Program Management Professional (PgMP) Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in enterprise-level planning, logistics, and operations across large portfolios, including procurement, staffing, and resource allocation
  • Experience managing performance-based programs with multiple OCONUS locations and working with dispersed technical teams
  • Experience with DoD, FEDSIM, AAS, or similar government contracting environments
