We are searching for a new member of the Meijer family! When you join us as a Grocery Clerk, you will provide customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. The role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and product availability in assigned areas by executing key backroom and sales floor processes. This includes operating powered equipment (preferred), resolving inventory discrepancies (e.g., mis-ships, mis-selects), managing backstock and inventory management processes, and ensuring balance on hand integrity. The position supports product flow by working live loads, ad sets, and backstock, while also executing hole scans and balance on hand adjustments. Additional duties include partnering with vendors, preparing for physical inventory, managing recalls and damaged goods, maintaining cold chain standards, and ensuring compliance with WIC and temperature monitoring protocols. The role also involves maintaining a clean and safe dock area and reducing shrink through proactive product management.

• This Position has a 4:00 am Start time
• The ideal candidate will be available all days of the week.

• Stock product and maintain product displays according to merchandising standards.
• Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for our customers.
• This position is applicable to the following departments: Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Grocery.

This job has a step pay plan that generally starts between the rates below with raises occurring after predetermined hours worked. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location.
