Overview

As a Remote Access Site Reliability Engineer on our End User Computing team, you will be a key member of the team making the Bank's hybrid working model possible. As a skilled member of a global team supporting our SASE products, you will partner with your engineering and product colleagues inside and outside your core team to detect and respond to issues, prepare and execute Disaster Recovery plans, and plan and implement safe scalable changes in a blend of Agile ceremonies and ITILv4 process. What You'll Do

  • Ensure the reliability and availability of our Remote Access platforms - we leverage a SASE platform that we are continuously improving, you will need an engineering mindset to understand change being proposed, potential risks and impacts, and mitigation strategies to drive safe change on this platform

  • Ensure availability of underpinning ZTNA infrastructure on Linux platform - your Linux skills will be key to app-level troubleshooting and support

  • Develop strategies to detect and respond to issues on our platforms, provide self-healing or self-service options for impacted end-users, and consumable technical and end-user knowledge for the platform

  • Participate in and contribute to drafting of post-mortems when something goes wrong

  • Be a strong technical resource to share and exchange knowledge with your squad mates as well as support teams across the Bank, enabling our teams to continuously learn and better respond to issues

Skills You'll Need

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent is required

  • Extensive knowledge of networking concepts, proven experience in a networking role or a role supporting or engineering SASE solutions, Proven experience with Linux platforms, preferably Red Hat

  • Understanding of Agile and/or ITILv4 concepts, experience working in an Information Technology (IT) Service Management platform like ServiceNow

  • Proven experience in a Level 3 support, engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering function that would show your ability to apply logical engineering concepts to solve problems, understand issues, and understand change as an expert on your platforms, and at least a basic level on other technology platforms to enable you to work collaboratively across teams on issues

  • Understanding of Azure and Entra ID, Enterprise Applications, SAML authentication, SCIM provisioning, and Conditional Access

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Experience working in large enterprise organizations, or working across global locations

  • Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering concepts

  • Experience with any SIEM (ie Splunk), writing queries, generating reports and analysis based on a suspected problem

  • Experience with any cloud-based computing, preferably Azure app Landing zones

  • Scripting in Python or PowerShell, experience working with Microsoft Power Platforms, Azure Runbooks, or similar

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $78,000 to $111,800. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
