Director, Product Marketing

Job Description:

The Director, Product Marketing is a strategic leader responsible for shaping go-to-market strategy, messaging, and differentiated positioning to drive market adoption and revenue growth. This role bridges Product, Sales, and Marketing to ensure successful launches and deliver sales tools that fuel pipeline growth and conversion.

Go-to-Market Leadership

  • Lead and execute go-to-market strategies for new features and solutions, partnering closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing to drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth.
  • Ensure alignment between campaign strategies, content creation, and GTM initiatives.

Messaging & Positioning

  • Develop compelling, differentiated messaging that highlights NextGen's value proposition across AI, EHR, RCM, and patient engagement solutions.
  • Guide creative teams to ensure consistency in product messaging and brand voice across all channels.

Sales Enablement

  • Equip the field with sales collateral, pitch decks, case studies, battlecards, and objection-handling tools tailored to buyer personas and market segments.
  • Provide frontline sales support and training to improve conversion and pipeline velocity.

Competitive & Market Intelligence

  • Own competitive intelligence and win/loss analysis to inform positioning and equip sales with real-time differentiation strategies.
  • Maintain a robust reference and client advocacy program to strengthen credibility and market influence.

Field Insight & Feedback Loops

  • Act as a strategic liaison between the field and internal teams-gathering insights from surveys, client interactions, and conferences to influence roadmap and marketing strategies.
  • Leverage the "arsenal" to communicate trends, feedback, and opportunities that drive improvements in people, processes, and technology.

Thought Leadership & Content Strategy

  • Collaborate with content and digital teams to develop thought leadership assets, webinars, and campaigns that support demand generation and customer education.
  • Ensure product marketing supports every stage of the buyer's journey and aligns with marketing KPIs.

Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.

Education Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • MBA Preferred .
  • Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
Experience Required:
  • 10+ years' experience as individual contributor with increasing levels of experience.
  • 5+ years marketing experience
  • 5+ years' experience as director level management.
  • Former Product Marketing experience
  • Experience working with legal documents and terminology.
  • Experience working with competitive intelligence software.
  • Experience launching cloud-based healthcare solutions
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of:Deep understanding of the U.S. healthcare provider market and ambulatory care trends. Best practices knowledge of and/or direct healthcare experience, sales, and customer service. Microsoft Office Suite. Salesforce CRM. Proficient with Competitive intelligence methods and techniques. Product and industry, revenue recognition guidelines, SOX and high trust security.
  • Skill in:Leadership & interpersonal skills, excellent communication, proposal writing, collaboration, attention to detail, organizational, time management, strategic, critical, quantitative, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to:Drive strategic direction within a sales organization to meet goals. Develop solutions and implement a course of action. Prioritize work, multi-task, meet deadlines.
