Shutterstock, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer IV in New York, NY to perform system architecture and feature design based on customer and stakeholder requests. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience using Agile/Scrum methodology in system architecture and feature design, including micro-service design and usage; performing full stack development using React JS, Node JS, Javascript, Typescript, AWS, SASS, CSS Modules, and Jest; utilizing AWS-based deployment techniques, including serverless technology, to create software applications; designing SQL and noSQL databases using MySQL and DyanmoDB; leveraging REST API design principles to specify and build software component interfaces; implementing AWS Cloud operational software for web and business processing application monitoring; monitoring dashboards using analytics providers including New Relic and Datadog; and implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows using tools including Git, Jenkins and GitHub Actions. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. NO CALLS PLEASE.

Salary range: $210,637.50 - 235,598.00/year
