Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.


Responsibilities for this Position

We're looking for a Product Owner & Systems Engineer to join our team and drive the development of the Weapon System Simulator (WSS). This critical system is vital for the testing of the Fire Control system for Ohio Class Submarines, ensuring the highest standards of readiness and performance. The WSS team is responsible for a sophisticated system that simulates hardware interfaces to enable rigorous testing within the Engineering Test Station (ETS). As the Product Owner and Systems Engineer, you'll be the technical and product vision leader for this cross-functional team, guiding the development, integration, and maintenance of the WSS. You'll bridge the gap between stakeholder needs and technical execution, ensuring our simulations accurately replicate the behavior of VME hardware, software, and network components. This role is a unique blend of product management and systems engineering. You will own the product backlog, define requirements, and prioritize features to meet program objectives. You will also leverage your systems engineering expertise to understand the technical architecture, troubleshoot complex issues, and guide the team in developing robust and scalable solutions.

Target salary range: USD $115,000.00/Yr. - USD $125,000.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
