Overview: The Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders (CASD) Outpatient Therapist is responsible for the clinical assessment, mental health treatment and clinical care of children, adolescents and their families for clients of CASD. This individual is responsible for the ability to use individual, group, family, and child guidance and parent-child therapy modalities appropriately, flexibly, and creatively. The CASD Outpatient Therapist will also possess the ability to provide interventions in the school setting, natural environment and other community facilities. This individual will provide culturally competent services in all areas. Job Description Summary: Job Description: Essential Functions:
Education Requirement: Master's degree from an accredited university or professional school of Counseling, Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy, required. Licensure Requirement:
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, peers, and community representatives. Experience: Experience providing and managing culturally appropriate and trauma-informed behavioral healthcare to children, adolescent and families, required.
