Senior Advanced Software Engineer

ACARA Solutions and our client in Bloomington, MN have a contract to direct hire position available

As a software engineer for Land & Air Systems, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing and testing embedded systems, products, and services that make a real difference in keeping our heroes and nation safe.

• Solid background on embedded software development, Linux, RTOS, and HW/SW integration
• Familiarity with DO-178 compliant software engineering life-cycle experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics
• Minimum 8 years of experience in C, C++, and Python
• Minimum 8 years of experience in embedded software development, Linux, RTOS, and HW/SW integration
• Minimum 8 years of DO-178 compliant software engineering life-cycle experience

• Master's Degree
• Agile experience
• Creative thinker with demonstrated success leading the software development life cycle
