Your Impact:

OpenText is seeking a dynamic and strategic AMS Director, Learning Services to lead a high-performing, multi-skilled team across the Americas. This role is pivotal in driving revenue, margin, resource utilization, and delivery excellence for OpenText Learning Services. You will serve as a key leader, shaping and executing learning strategies, fostering strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, and positioning OpenText as a premier provider of learning solutions.

You will collaborate closely with global delivery teams and field organizations to articulate and implement the vision for learning solutions. Your leadership will ensure the successful deployment of custom learning programs, enterprise subscriptions, and traditional services tailored to the diverse needs of the AMS market.

What the role offers:
  • Lead and manage Learning Services across the AMS region, ensuring exceptional customer and partner experiences.
  • Drive strategic growth through effective team leadership, subcontracting, partnerships, and talent development.
  • Oversee the full sales cycle for Learning Services, including opportunity management, forecasting, and delivery.
  • Collaborate with global teams to develop and launch offerings that resonate with regional market needs.
  • Advocate for the value of learning, user adoption, and continuous education across internal and external audiences.
  • Represent OpenText Learning Services as a thought leader in the AMS market.
  • Partner with internal teams to support skilling initiatives, certification programs, and ecosystem enablement.
  • Provide strategic insights and updates to executive leadership.
  • Develop tailored learning strategies aligned with customer business goals and industry trends.
  • Champion modern learning methodologies, including subscription models and self-paced learning.
  • Stay current with industry trends and innovations in education and learning technologies.
What you need to succeed:
  • Proven leadership experience in training sales and delivery, preferably in software or SaaS environments.
  • Strong background in software services sales, with a focus on education, consulting, or user adoption programs.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding business goals.
  • Advanced negotiation and executive presentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of business contract principles and sales forecasting.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for learning, knowledge creation, and building expertise.
  • Strong program and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience working in complex, multi-solution environments with a global footprint.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; 10+ years of relevant experience in training, software, sales, operations, and delivery of educational programs.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong follow-through.
  • Experience with Information Management software is a plus.
  • Multilingual capabilities are an asset.

Vous serez responsable de la mise en uvre de solutions d'apprentissage personnalisees, d'abonnements d'entreprise et de services traditionnels, tout en collaborant etroitement avec les equipes mondiales et les partenaires internes (Ventes, Services, Succes client, Support, Reseaux internationaux et Alliances). Vous contribuerez a positionner OpenText comme un leader reconnu dans le domaine de la formation professionnelle.

Responsabilites principales
  • Diriger les Services de formation dans la region AMS, en assurant une experience client exceptionnelle.
  • Gerer le cycle de vente des services de formation, y compris la gestion des opportunites et les previsions de revenus.
  • Developper des relations solides avec les clients, partenaires et equipes internes.
  • Collaborer avec les equipes mondiales pour adapter les offres aux specificites du marche AMS.
  • Promouvoir les initiatives de certification et de developpement des competences dans la region.
  • Representer OpenText comme une reference dans le domaine de l'apprentissage et de l'adoption.
  • Elaborer des strategies de formation sur mesure alignees sur les objectifs des clients et les tendances du secteur.
  • Introduire des modeles d'apprentissage modernes (abonnement, autoformation, infrastructure evolutive).
  • Participer activement aux evenements du secteur et suivre les innovations en matiere d'education.
Competences et qualifications requises
  • Experience confirmee en direction de services de formation, idealement dans le secteur logiciel ou SaaS.
  • Solide parcours en vente de services logiciels, avec specialisation en education, conseil ou adoption utilisateur.
  • Capacite demontree a atteindre ou depasser les objectifs commerciaux.
  • Excellentes competences en negociation et presentation a un niveau executif.
  • Maitrise des principes contractuels et des previsions commerciales.
  • Leadership reconnu et aptitude a collaborer dans un environnement global et matriciel.
  • Passion pour l'apprentissage, la creation de savoirs et le developpement des competences.
  • Competences averees en gestion de projets et programmes, avec souci du detail.
  • Experience dans des environnements complexes et multi-solutions a portee internationale.
  • Diplome universitaire dans un domaine pertinent, avec plus de 10 ans d'experience dans la formation, les logiciels, les ventes et la gestion de programmes educatifs.
  • Autonomie, esprit d'initiative et capacite a mener les projets a terme.
  • Une experience avec les logiciels de gestion de l'information est un atout.
  • La maitrise de plusieurs langues est un plus.

Salary Range: $134,540 - $221,030; Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
