Aon Is Looking for A Broker - Product Recall

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Crisis Management Practice within Aon Risk Solutions. This position is within the Product Recall & Contamination Team.

What the day will look like

  • Manage renewal portfolio for assigned region, ensuring timely renewal solicitation, data collection, and strategy development.
  • Conduct renewal strategy sessions with account executives and clients, including program diagnostics and benchmarking.
  • Develop broking strategies for new and renewal business, recommending suitable markets and alternatives.
  • Provide timely marketing updates to account teams and clients; respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours.
  • Prepare and present renewal proposals in collaboration with account executives.
  • Confirm program binding and ensure timely receipt and review of binders and policies; track invoicing and coding.
  • Complete subjectivities and maintain account status tracking in Risk Capture.
  • Support new business opportunities and collaborate with sales teams to pursue target accounts.
  • Provide sales support, program materials, and distribute relevant reports.
  • Increase team and program visibility through presentations and events.
  • Assist with RFPs, including material preparation and presentations.
  • Complete monthly reports, attend renewal meetings, and track commission/fee income.
  • Collaborate with team members and build relationships with underwriters.
  • Ensure compliance with required courses, licensing, and continuing education.
  • Maintain accurate account information, production reports, and expense submissions.
  • Adhere to time tracking and keep People Finder information up to date.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • 3 to 6 years of relevant insurance experience, preferably in product recall or crisis management. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Active P&C License will need to be obtained within the first 6 months.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent years of industry experience.

Your employment is contingent upon obtaining and/or maintaining all Property & Casualty licenses in the required states, as designated by Aon. You must successfully complete the required course work and pass the examinations within 6 months of your start date. Aon will be responsible for paying the costs associated with the coursework and examinations according to the Aon licensing policy. Failure to meet these requirements will result in the termination of your employment with the firm.

Pay Transparency Laws

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $80,000 to $95,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
